Arizona Coyotes backup goalie Anders Lindback suffered an unspecified off-ice injury prior to warmups against the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night and was not available. The team said Lindback will be evaluated by the Coyotes' medical staff, with an update provided on Tuesday. The short notice left Arizona with no chance to call up a goalie from the minors in time for the game, so they will use Nathan Schoenfeld, son of New York Rangers assistant GM and former Coyotes coach Jim Schoenfeld, as the backup to Louis Domingue.
