Penguins ride Malkin's big 4-point night to 4-3 win over Wild

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Evgeni Malkin scored two goals and picked up two assists for his first four-point game in two seasons to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night.

David Perron and Beau Bennett also scored for Pittsburgh, which rode Malkin's inspired play to win for just the second time in five games. Marc-Andre Fleury made 26 saves as the Penguins, which lost defenceman Olli Maatta to an injury in the second period.

Mikael Granlund had a goal and an assist for the Wild. Jared Spurgeon and Mikko Koivu collected power play goals for Minnesota as it nearly rallied from a three-goal deficit. Devan Dubnyk stopped 25 shots as the Wild lost in regulation for only the second time in their last nine games.
