Flyers' Jakub Voracek wearing boot, out 2 weeks

NHL, Philadelphia Flyers

Philadelphia Flyers winger Jakub Voracek will miss at least two weeks with a lower-body injury, general manager Ron Hextall said Monday.

Voracek, who leads the team in assists (38) and is second in points (48), suffered the injury after colliding with Minnesota goalie Devan Dubnyk on Thursday and has been wearing a boot on his left foot.

Hextall told reporters Monday that Voracek will not need surgery.

Sam Gagner filled in for Voracek in the Flyers' 4-2 win against Arizona on Saturday, and he could be in line to continue doing so.
