PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- - Michal Neuvirth called it one of the best saves of his life, and it helped bail out the Philadelphia Flyers. Neuvirth made two stellar saves late, including a highlight-reel stop with 1.6 seconds remaining, and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period, lifting the Flyers past the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Thursday night. Coach Dave Hakstol went with his backup goalie for the second straight contest, and Neuvirth made 24 saves to improve to 14-7-4. More...

Pierre-Edouard Bellemare scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period and Michal Neuvirth made two stellar saves late, helping the Philadelphia Flyers open a six-game homestand with a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. Shayne Gostisbehere continued his remarkable scoring run and gave the Philadelphia Flyers a much-needed win. Gostisbehere scored 29 seconds into overtime, extending his points streak to 15 games, and the Flyers edged the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 on Saturday night.
