ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Goaltender Jonas Hiller signed a four-year contract extension Saturday with the Anaheim Ducks.

The deal, which will run through the 2013-14 season, reportedly is valued at $18 million.

Hiller, 27, could have become a free agent this summer but now is off the market. He joined the Ducks as a European free agent in May 2007.

This season, Hiller is 21-15-2 with a 2.75 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage.

"This is a very exciting day for me personally," said Hiller, who will tend goal for Switzerland at the Olympics. "Anaheim has been a great place to play, and I couldn't be happier to stay here."

Hiller is 54-37-5 with a 2.46 GAA and a .919 save percentage in 108 games with the Ducks over three seasons.

"Jonas has proved himself as a starting NHL goaltender," general manager Bob Murray said. "We expect him to only get better."
