Ducks put Jonas Hiller on IR

NHL, Anaheim Ducks

Goaltender Jonas Hiller was put on on injured reserve, retroactive to Feb. 3, on Tuesday with what the Anaheim Ducks are calling fatigue/lightheadedness.

Hiller is eligible to be activated Thursday. The Ducks play at Vancouver on Wednesday, then stay on the road to face the Calgary Flames on Friday.

Hiller is 25-16-3 with a 2.56 goals-against average this season. He also has four shutouts.

To fill Hiller's spot, Anaheim recalled goalie Timo Pielmeier from the Elmira Jackals, its ECHL affiliate.
